before i buy a part off ebay, i am wanting to know if a 1989, 740 rear defrost switch will work in my 1992 940 turbo? the part from the pictures look alike. would the volvo dealer be able to tell me if the part is the same?

also, does anyone use a good discount parts store that has a good selection of parts and/or salvage yard?
any input would appreciated.
