Starting and Stalling 200 1992

Bought my son this 240 GL back in August 06 it's been a great car had an issue with the exhaust and on the day he went to take it in it was -8 he had a really hard time starting it and the check engine light came on after he got the exhust all fixed he was on his way to work and it quit running. So I went and limped it home Check the error codes and it had a 121 AMM and a 132 Lean or Rich at idle?? I think thats the right code any ways so I ordered a new AMM and had the same problem...Next day when I'm fresh I look the car over and as I'm looking around I see a nut missing from the Throttle body I grab the TB and wouldnt you know it it was really loose Put a wrench on it and it runs like a champ...Well that was an expensive lesson in Volvo learning...

Thanks to this sight I was able to get the info I needed and head off in the right direction...Next up timing belt and seals...

I love simple cars like this and would love to find a 242 for myself...

Awesome site...
