Overall, an excellent kit that has worked great for roughly 3 months without issue... great price and performance, reasonable installation effort.

The first issue I have run into with this kit was earlier this week when the temperature got down into the twenties (hey, it even happens in North Carolina for a few hours a year!). Went to unlock the car with the remote, and it took an entire five seconds for the driver door actuator to unlock things... didn't have enough force to hit the switch and unlock the rest of the car.

That evening, I let the car freeze back down, pulled the door cover and mechanically unhooked the actuator from the lock. When I hit the remote unlock button, it took, once again 5 seconds for the actuator to fully extend. Hmmm, seems like the grease in the actuator is too thick to work properly at low temperatures.

Has anyone else run into this? I'd like to know before I ping IPD on it. Once again, not bashing the product here just trying to find out if anyone else has seen this. Personally, RKE is an awesome addition to our bricks!
