Update on Engine miss in wet weather 700 1991 (ZEE a question for you) 700 1991

The miss is kind of specific. It doesn't happen on my work commute (wet or dry)typically 30 minutes. But it will happen if I drive after either AM or PM commute.
Driving yesterday the check engine light came on for a couple of seconds at a stop when the idle dropped quite low. It didn't stall. I picked up the code
2-3-2 (adaptive trim lean/rich, O2 sensor). My Volvo manual says driveability problems, increased gas mileage. The mileage is down 3 mpg since problem started. I will check the signal output. I now have some time as my winter beater (88 740 FI wgn, M47) is ready to suck up some salt.
Over & out but I promise to report back.

ZEE you mentioned yours had an injector not working, I assume you mean intermittantly not working. My 940 had a clogged non-firing injector & it lost so much power it couldn't get out of it's own way. The 740 injectors were fine when I cleaned them a couple of monthes ago. I got consistant indications from a noid light.

cheers ibs740
