!!No Turn Signals!! & Buzzing from behind dash 200 1990

I was driving home late last night on the interstate and I went to change lanes and I noticed that the turn sigal was not working. At the same time I noticed that there was a buzzing noise from behind the dash. Not so much a buzzing, but it alsmost like the sound of something shorting out. I'm guessing the gizmo that make the turnsignals blink has gone kaput. Does this sound logical and can I get a new blinker gizmo??

Thanks in advance .... currently w/o turn signals
