Looking for emergency brake rigid spacer bracket 200 1990

I posted approximately a month ago about the rigid spacer for the emergency brakes, which Volvo no longer makes, supports, or can name. They have since replaced them with a two-piece adjusting assembly, that sells for about $75 a side. (I found the brackets on my '84, '86, and '90 240s and my parents '90 740.)

This is a heads up to anyone else trying to replace their e-brake shoes and still use the rigid spacer bracket. It appears that Volvo has redesigned the shoes, which are now bigger. The ends of the shoes need to be ground down a tad to fit with the rigid brackets. It's not a big difference, but it was a royal pain in the keister when I couldn't get the rotor to fit back over with everything else in place. (Thank goodness for friends who know more than I do and are willing to help! I've gotten better at removing the springs, tho! :)

Also, I am looking for a good rigid bracket, if someone out there would be willing to part with one - it's a flat rectangular metal plate, about 3" long by 3/8" wide by 1/4" thick, with notches that mate to the shoes cut into the ends. (My parent's car suffered catastrophic e-brake spring failure on one side, and that chewed it up pretty nicely.) NY uses salt on the roads, so finding a good one in a yard around here has proven a bit difficult.

Thanks so much!
