Running the car without coolant pressure...92-960-6L 900 1992

I started having coolant leak two months ago with no exterior visible leak at all, after a lot of testing and hoses / clamps replacements I had to think it must be a minor leak inside one of the pistons combustion chamber.
I decided to try with an old coolant reservoir cap after removing the pressure valve so the car would run with no pressure, but kept a good 75 Kpa black cap on the car just in case. Well, no leaks at all after that, no overheating, no boiling, everything perfect but it's never higher than 80 degrees F outside now in Miami so probably it'll be different when in summer we get to 100F.
I am afraid this can be dangerous at some point to the cooling system...any ideas, thoughts about this no pressure test?
