4' x 6' Front Speakers and Grills: For Volvo Model 242. 200

Hi there,

I'm interested in the possibility of installing a pair of Infinity 4x6 inch plate speakers in the front doors of my early 80's 242 (with an Alpine head unit). I've seen photos of this done before by a brickboard member and am wondering what modifications I should anticipate for a pair of good quality Infinity plate speakers of this kind? The Infinity speakers are less than 2 inches deep so I'm guessing that I'm OK for depth. I'll replace the old wiring by the way so no worries there.

In addition the Infinity's don't come with grills. Any suggestions for sources of 4x6 inch grills for this job? (I've emailed Infinity for their suggestions and am waiting on a reply, but I'm not optimistic.)
