Speedometer Needle Jumping when starting car 200 1991

Hello: I have a 1991 240. Non-Turbo. B230F engine. It has approx. 175,000 miles on it.

I notice that when starting the car the needle on the speedometer will jump up while the car is cranking.

If I re-start the car after a while it will not do this. What may be causing this?

Thanks for your assistance.....Any help would be apppreciated ...... Mr. Tool
