Hi everyone,
I've got a 1993 945 N/A with Regina and I've got a rough temporary cold idle. The actual temperature has to be cold outside for this to happen (anything below 50F it seems). The car starts fine, and once started the RPMs going into the mid 1000s for about a second and then drop down (normal); however, the car jumps around between 1000 and around 600RPMs for almost a minute (or until I give it gas) and then it idles smoothly at 900RPM (normal). It is incredibily noticable as the engine visibly moves as the RPMs bounce around and it shakes the car as well.
If its cold ouside, but the car is already warmed up, it idles fine. If it's warm outside, and I'm doing its a cold start. It's only a cold start in the cold where it idles roughly.
My problem almost exactly matches the problem about the EPROM problem in the FAQ, but that seems to be for Bosch systems.
Any suggestions? Thanks
