I have a 1964 544 that I put on E-Bay last year, which no one bid on. It may have been because I am in Oklahoma and a local pick-up wasn't logical. I have started the work on it, but due to other interests (and my age)I am considering selling it and I could deliver it for expenses.
The engine has been completely re-built,2 of the floor pans have been replaced (1 more needs replacing), the body is in very solid condition with the exception of some rusted areas inside the rear fenders and in the spare well in the trunk.all the glass (except the door windows)has been removed, the interior is stripped of all panels, the dash is removed and the engine and front clip are removed. Basically it is a rolling chassis. Probably 95% of the parts are with the car, plus and extra dash, decklid and left front fender. The engine has been stared and ran twice and sounds good. New starter, fuel pump, distributer parts, plugs and wiring. Brakes were re-done by P/O. This car is actually better than the one I started with for which I turned down $14,100 at auction in 2005. I can take pictures and send further information if there is an interest. E-Mail any requests to jsb@grandsavingsbank.net. I will continue to work on the restoration.
