I want to pull up the bottom moldings over the door sills on my '93:
1) to run a wire (for electricity) from the engine compartment to the trunk for a trailer module's power.
2) to vacuum out the car's lifetime of leaves and dirt that has fallen into the vents and accumulated down there.

My older cars had screws over a metal plate. This one has a molded plastic sill bent over, and I can't see how to release it. I'm reluctant to force it (and risk having it crack), unless I get confirmation that this is the right way to go.
