what else besides.....do u suggest i tackle

as long as i am there.

the 92 wagon wife-mobile will have a 200,000 mile turnover later this week and i will post pictures of the event.

the left front srut seeems to have given up the ghost. i have checked under both front wheels and found the boots, ball joints, tie rods, rack, bushings i could see and other suspension and steering parts, all to be sound and in good order.

the alignment is currently perfect

is it best to do both sides for struts at the same time? the answer would seem to be obvious but its cold and this job will be outside or near enough to make no diff.....so i ask anyway.

and as long as i am in there what else should i replace?

and what kind, brand of strut to buy or NOT to buy?

this is first strut job for me and i have read the board posts on this subject.

appreciate therefore some of my whining is performance anxiety!

ps: what type/brand of spring compressor is safest and easiest? i do not have an air compressor, but have a fine set of tools otherwise.
