Is it safe to use gas drier with a 95 940 Turbo? 900

Is it safe to use gas drier with a 95 940 Turbo?

I'm still hunting down this blasted sudden engine failure in the car. I replaced the fuel pump relay and although the car actually seems to run better in cold weather, it did die once again, though it drove fine for 45 minutes.

It always seems to die when coming to a stop at slow speeds, which probably would indicate the flywheel sensor (maybe). But I thought I'd try some gas drier first and see if maybe it's not just water in the gas since it's been raining heavily lately here.

Thanks for any information...
