Fuel Pump Replacement Questions 200 1987

A couple of Qs about a main fuel pump replacement on my '87 240.

First, just wondering about a Bosch pump vs other brands--anybody feel strongly about one or the other?

Also, I poked around with the pump a while ago, and I gave up because the banjo bolts were really hard to loosen--is this typical?
