Possible vacuum leak locations - Trying to fix rough idle... 200 1990

As mentioned, been trying to fix a rough idle for some time now. Idles fine cold, but rough when warm. Car runs well otherwise.

So far, I have done a complete tune-up and cleaned throttle body. Plan on cleaning flame trap this week.

My real question is where on a 1990 240 should I look for vacuum leaks? Which hoses should I replace just due to their age?

This rough idle started about a month ago. I have had a "hissing" sound from behind the console for maybe a year now, so I don't think that leak is the cause. Nonetheless, I plan on replacing the hose from the check valve to wherever it goes. Can anyone shed any light on this job? Anyone ever replace this hose? I'm guessing it connects to something behind the console. BTW - How do you slide the hose through the firewall?

Speaking of the check valve, should air flow both ways through it or just one? I forget how it is supposed to work.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks all!

Jim
