Hello, I have a 85 740 gle with 140k that has developed transmission problems. I am looking for a good used one. How do I know what trans I have. it doesn't have the push button overdrive. I am trying to decide if I am going to fix it or part it ou and scrap it. It is in pretty good shape except it needs a heater core and trans issues! I am in Spartanburg, S.C if anyone is interested in it.
