Turbo Wastegate and Oil leakage 700

Hi all!!

I have had turbo smoking problems coming out the exhaust. When I was rebuilding my turbo and examining the inside, I was wondering how the turbo doesnt leak oil?!! On the exhaust turbine side, it seems there is nothing really stopping oil from dripping down the exhaust pipe.

After my rebuild, I have oil leaking out of the exhaust flange just before my Cat and lots of smoke. I know I did everything just right, what could cause this? All of my lines are clear, new seals, gaskets, and crankcase ventilation is working properly. Im about to drive it for a while and see if it clears up, but Im not getting my hopes up. It hasnt been driven yet since the rebuild. I did idle the car for 20 minutes and the next day is when I noticed the small oil puddle just below the exhaust flange before my Cat.

Do you think if I tighten up my wastegate it would put more exhaust pressure on the turbo keeping the oil in. How much boost am I running if I do this? Is it true that exhaust pressure is what keeps oil in the turbo for the exhaust side of the turbo, this is what I have heard, but dont know if its true.

Thanks all for your help.
