I'm slowly reassembling my B20 and right now I'm putting the new piston rings in. I've never done this before so I'm taking my time and asking lots of questions. My Volvo factory maintenance manual tells me that the ring gap should be between .4 and .55 mm. My rings have a considerably larger gap and I'm not sure what to do about it. The cylinders were honed but not bored and the rings were part of IPD's re-ring kit. What do I do? thank you.
