240 Headlamps slow to turn on

The headlamps in my 1985 240DL wagon come on about 2 seconds after I turn the switch on. The parking lamps come on as soon as I turn the switch on. I noticed this happens when the vehicle is cold. Is there a relay for the headlamps that may be the problem
