hi there,
i'm about to swap out the rear end on a 66 wagon, ive rebuilt the brakes from the ground up re-bushed with poly everywhere i could. looking through my manual i can't seem to find torque wrench settings for the support arms, torque rods or panhard rod. i would expect they need to be torqued like the front end, wishbones etc... can someone give me some info or point me in the right direction.
also i pulled the heater control valve from my parts car and the thermostat wire broke off about 5-6 in. from the body of the valve, does this realy make a difference? the one i pulled was coiled inside the heater box but the one in my wagon is just coiled up in outside the heater box. i don't think it will make a much difference but thought i'd ask. at least the heat won't be on in the middle of the summer anymore.
thanks.
