Small clock - pulling apart 200

Does anyone have any tips for pulling apart the small clock? The grounding lug has been chipped away, and the two screws pulled...so the internals can float inside the housing. Does the clear face just pull out of the housing? There is a threaded piece sticking out the back, is that just for mounting or does it help to hold everything together? Is it time for the cut-off wheel followed by superglue?

Thanks for any pointers.
