.010 over pistons? 1800

I have .010 pistons in my 73' 1800ES and mistakenly bought standard size piston rings. The standard piston rings obviously have too large of an end gap to use and I need to find an alternative. Does anyone know where I can find a set of .010 over rings? I was told by an employee at Westbay Autoparts that I could get .020 over rings and file the end gap to fit, is this true? I know the last option is to order oversized pistons and matching rings and rebore the engine. If I can, I'd like to avoid this expensive option. thanks again
