problems w new Fuel pump?? 200 1989

I got a new Bosch pump from Fcp,[replaced the intank pump last month]installed it&it ran smooth for about 10 minutes,,I took the charger pack off& then turned the lights on[&then it started stalling.&I couldn't drive off.I'm wondering if the battery just might be needing a better charge?/Both pumps are running>
i have a charger on it now,,anyone have exp. doing pumps,,,
