Rotors 200 1993

OK, I am now suddenly needing my 3rd set of rotors on my 240 wagon. I simply do NOT understand this, and since the car was breaking straight, and the surface looked fairly smooth, I didn't think about it when it was left for inspection. I am sort of wondering if they are giving me a bit of a gig.

The last set DEFINITELY did need replacing as they were warped. They just warped suddenly while driving when the car was at about 70k. Now they are supposedly cupped and too badly to get through inspection. I haven't miced them as I haven't gotten the car back yet.

Normally these things I just take care of myself, but, the car is sitting there. They tend to NOT look for work with me, but lately it seems like there is always something.

But I have NEVER had a Volvo go through rotors like this. What gives?
