Forum;
I seem to recall there are a couple of different types of flares on a (one) vehicle (for instance on the distribution block on the firewall and at the calipers...doublebubble - where there flare curls back on itself - and single flare - simple flare - or some such terminology, as a highly experienced oldtimer once put it)...has anyone done a study and made a clean write-up of this as it applies to our cars...one of the members of the Volvoniacs forum has a leak in a newly redone system...I think he may not have used the correct flare combination, but this is tough to explain without a graphic to show the differences...I've never had an issue because I always make sure to match the flares on any replacement lines with the old, just to make sure...
Thanks in advance for any help!
