Solution for 700 (M46) driveline vibration 700 1991

I solved the vibration problem. The trans mount center section had come unbonded allowing it to move.

I could only tell after I removed it. A tell tale sign (now I know)was that the trans sat a little lower. With the center bearing unbolted there seemed to be no difference in up & down movement of the driveshaft bwtn new & old mount.

I ran that sucker in gear up on jackstands. My handhand vacuum pump on the cruise control diaphram worked great to hold the speed steady. It wouldn't stay engaged from inside the car?

There's a lesson I guess, change the beggar on a time/mileage basis when you notice driveline vibration.

Thanks all for your ideas.
