Help with electrical issue

Hello,

Well, like many others, today I installed a big tachometer to replace the non-working clock in the dash of my 1984 244DL. Found it at a junkyard, from a 1982 car.

I plan on installing a small clock connected to the tach. I don't have the clock yet but I do have the wiring harness, which I connected to the tach, and taped where I could easily access it later.

That was probably a mistake since I was tired and didn't pay attention to how I was taping those loose cables.

When I tried, the tach worked well but I discovered that central door locking was gone, as were the day headlights and the radio. The fuse for the central locking was blown so I changed that and it is now working. However, the day lights and radio are still not working (the brights are working) and the 2 fuses for those things are alright (I tried replacing them anyway with no change).

The tach is still working fine. Oh, the dash night light seems to be gone too , but I had some weird behaviour from that before so I don't know if it's related.

I need to try and figure this out in the morning (and see if I inadvertently disturbed some other connectors) but any idea where I should look?

Thanks!
