I have a 1986 Volvo 244 DL 250k miles.
Is it normal for the idle control valve tube
to have suction at idle? My rmps are at 900
but the idle screw is in all the way. I did
a leak test on the injectors and intake gasket
with carb cleaner & it didnt have any leaks.

Also I found on the bottom side of the oil cap
bright white fluid not to much. I noticed that
there is oil shooting up toward the cap alot.
What is the bright white stuff? I doubt its a
blown head. Blown head is a milk shake color.
Could it just be detergent from the oil?
