Headers vs. Double Downpipe??? 120-130

Hello all!

A while back I purchased a set of headers on ebay to
fit either my wagon or my son's 66' sedan. Since then
I have wondered if headers are a good idea on a B18
stock engine. Both now have single downpipes but I was
wondering would a double downpipe be better for the
car than a header?

I do plan on sport exhausts for both cars in
the near future!

Thanks for any wisdom!!!
