Steering Rack Inner ball joint 200 1988

It's an 88 240 with the original steering rack. I just replaced the front struts (Boge) and upper mounts. Both from IPD. I had the guy who did the alignment install the struts and mounts. (New Yokahamas also). When I got it back it pulls to the left. Jacked the front end and noticed slop when shaking the wheel in the inner ball joint underneath the bellows on the drives side. I assume it needs replacing. Several questions...
1. Do I replace the male and female ball joints on the driver's side only?
2. Do I replace the male and female joints on both sides? (No slop on the passenger side).
3. Do I replace the tie rod ends at the same time for either option above?
4. Can this be done without removing the entire rack?

Also, it's a Cam rack and I will replace the belows on both sides. IPD's pricing for the male/female joints are $62.00 ea. Groton's price is $19.00. I'll spend the money for quality but that seems to be a pretty large spread. Any thoughts on who to purchase from?

Thanksabunch
