B20 information? 120-130 1968

Hi all, I am looking at finally buying another engine for my 68 Kombi. But after looking on the internets, I am not even sure what engine I have! I suspect that there is a lot of mis-information out there!
The B18 B?-D? in my car is pretty high compression (at least on 3 cylinders, the fourth is a little suspect) and will ping on anything below about 90 RON gas if the timing is set within reason (8-10 btdc - idle).
I have found an engine/trans combo from a US model '69 P1800 that I plan to install and think it is 118 bhp with a 'C' cam and about 9.5 to 10.5/1 compression ratio. This is perhaps a "B20D" and AFIK was only in the '69 1800s in the US (it has Stromburgs on it now - soon to be replaced).
My questions are. Is there really a B20D and what was it used in, am I correct in my expectations as far as CR/cam/and HP? Any place to find out the Torque curve of these engines? And finally what overdrive was in the stock '69 1800?

Cheers! and TIA for any light you can shed on this!
OK
