trip odometer reset button broken 200

Well i filled up my car at the gas station, and as usually i press the reset button. As i push it in, i feel it break at its inner most point, and now i can not pull the piece out to reset it, nor do i have a button to press because it broke off. Anyway, anyone ever have this happen? I figure I have to take out the instrument panel and take it apart to replace the button but not sure, thanks.
