hi there,
have a few questions for anyone with a 240 turbo, i will be going to look at an 84 in the next day or so. besides rust rust and more rust with the floor,rockers,rear trunk pots, etc.what else should i keep my eyes open for, i know the 84's had leaky window seals. i know to look for blow by, wiring harnes decay, front struts rotting, excessive oil in the big hose from the turbo to the motor/intake manifold. aside from all that and checking the blower motor and any power options to be sure they work are there any more mechanical areas i should check while i'm in front of it? i've owned 2 240's and a couple 122's but never had a 240 turbo. any input would be great, as long as the unibody is sound mechanical issues are fixable. but i don't want to get in for more than i want to deal with.
