Any reccomendations on restoring the color to the top of my blue 240? One area on the top is starting to fade out and starting to look sort of grayish. Will a mild rubbing compound do the job? Can I buff this out myself? I am trying to avoid going to a paint and body shop if at all possible.

Also, thanks to all of you brick brothers who helped me with a starting problem. It turned out to be the crank position sensor and for a while I thought it was too much of a challenge for me, but about two weeks ago, I thought "what the heck" and jumped on it. I was able to wedge my hand into that very tight area with a 10mm socket attached to a small socket drive to loosen the screw and afterwards remove it by hand. The installtion was the reverse and now it starts right up. I also follwed the tip about spraying some WD-40 around the sensor to loosen it up beforehand so that it would not break off. This forum is great and definitely a money-saver!!!
