Okay, car handles great, but the noises from the rear suspension are annoying and downright disturbing. 25mm sway, Bil HDs, sport springs, full urethane bushings, adjustable torque rods and adjustable panhard bar.
The klunks get worse as the fuel gets lower. The noises are most notable on deceleration, acceleration, and bumps at low speed.
My first thought is to spot weld the "lock nuts" in place on the torque and panhard bars. My second thought is to see if the upper Bil HD shock mounts are tight with no slop.
I'm not talking clicks and clunks here, but rather outrageously loud thunks. Granted the rear dif is not in great shape but I can't believe that is the entire cause.
Any input will be greatly appreciated... 140 Watts of stereo can't "quite" cover it up while set to 11!
Thank you in advance!
