well, when we bought our car, the airbag was deployed (a service accident?)

I've been to a few yards, and have seen cars w/ intact airbags. I was hesitant to start pulling parts, as I am not sure what all I'll be needing, and where to find it/ how to get it.

first, the wheel. how does it come off without getting into the AB?

next, the controller (sensor?) needs to be replaced. where is it, and how do I get it.

What else needs attention? what tools do I need to bring along? I dont want to do 1/2 the work only to be lacking a tool.

no battery in the junkers, so I dont need to woory about that.
