s90 turn signal S90-V90 1998

turn signal is stuck. intermittent failure at first. the left turn indicator stays lit. right turn signal will flash correctly but left will not respond. took the hazard switch out of my 96 960 and it still does the same thing. also took the turn signal stalk off of the 960 to try it.
