Here are directions for downloading a 960 Repair Manual. Its made tailor made for the 1997 960.

The manual is a directory structure with different aspects, engine, steering, wiring, etc with pdf documents in it. The file is roughly 12 MB. Some of the PDFs have some weird formatting strangeness, but, the material is still very readable and good.


There is a download limit on this free web hosting site, so unfortunately, the manual can only be downloaded once a day by somebody.

So, when you get the message "Sorry, this GeoCities site is currently unavailable.", that means you need to wait for another day to download it.



Here is how to get it if you want it.

Right click on "Here you will find a self-extracting password protected zip file for repair info for the 97 Volvo 960." link.

Select "Save Target as..."

Select a place to save the file. The file will be named "97Volvo960RepairManual.jpg".

After the file finishes saving, rename "97Volvo960RepairManual.jpg" to "97Volvo960RepairManual.exe"

Now double click the 97Volvo960RepairManual.exe. This is a self extracting zip file that will automatically unzip the Volvo Manual PDF files into a directory structure.
