iratic idle and sounds like missfire after doing head gasket 900 1996

hi recentlly done head gasket on 3.0 960 had heah cleaned skimed and tested all ok used specific sealer to go between head and cam carriers so it didnt block oil ways etc since putting it back together it runs rough on idle some times its hunting and some times it sounds like its got a missfire but if you rev it from idle it doesnt miss a beet and occasionally lambda light will come on but no fault code will be there to read please help if poss thanks
