my 740 gl wagon want start unless i unplug the AMM first and let it warm up 700

then i can plug it back up and it runs good. if i plug it up to soon it will just shut off. i replaced the AMM 4 times last week from autozone.there are to different AMM's for this year if i have the wrong one will it make a difference. how do i no which 1 i need? and does anyone no what else could be the problem THANKS
