Car fires ignition when I turn the key on! 120-130

My 63 has done this since I installed a Crane Fireball electronic ignition. It has twin Weber 42 DCOEs. I know what is causing it and am curious about others having it happen. If it fires once, could it start if the trans is in neutral? It is firing in the correct sequence as it always moves the direction the trans gear selected.
