I have a chance to purchase a 1988 240 DL Wagon with 188,000 miles for $1300. Is this a good deal. This would be my first Volvo purchase, and from looking at previous 240 DL posts, I would say this is a pretty good car.

The person selling it said the only things wrong are the blower fan makes some rubbing noise, and the ball joints may need changed. Other than that he said the car has been in storage, and he is now deciding to sell it.

What other questions should I ask?
