...the latest member of the Brickboard family! Found at the local Volvo dealer, where I had seen her advertised for about $6,600. I decided to take a look because everything else I was finding was a hundred miles away, with a few disappointing specimens...
Turns out they were a pretty decent bunch, when all was said and done I drove away for about $850.
Blue is a '93 GL turbo, with just over 73,000 miles. She has the FT motor and gray leather seats, and a sunroof. Even came with an extra set of Volvo wheels and tire chains...
So far everything seems to work. The first item of business will be a good tuneup; the blow-by system could also benefit from a good cleaning, no doubt. I was told that the rear pads are due for a change too, so perhaps I can convince the wife that four cross-drilled, vented rotors are required...
