I want to verify the connections in this gauge - small tach 200

Hey all,

I wanted to verify the connections in this small tach I pulled the other day. The two on the top are clearly power and ground for the light. The bottom right is also a ground, since it's connected to the light's ground.

I'm guessing then, that the bottom left with the blue wire is power to the tach, and the connection centered above the two bottom connections (which also has a black wire) is the receiver for the RPMs?

That is, the last black wire, centered above the two bottom connections should take the red/white wire that is currently attached to the bottom of my large tach?
I'm also assuming that the large tach is powered by connecting to the main gauge panel PCB - whereas this small tach takes a separate power line like the other gauges (blue wire)?

I'm I totally lost?
