firewall ground connections? 700 1989

Me again. Same 780 B230ft warm stalling problem....but perhaps an important find.

One of the small straps that grounds to the firewall is off. The other strap (somewhat shorter) that bolts to the same point on the firewall goes to the valve cover. Please, if anyone knows where this longer thin strap connects to on the other end, could you give me a clue? From its length, I'm guessing that it might be the distributor. And of course I'm wondering if this will solve all of my mysterious problems. I'll be pissed that this took me a month to find out, but also relieved.
