What is a 240 SE? 200

Today at the store I saw a beautiful late-model, red, 245 with the '93 Classic style wheels. A super sharp looking car. When I looked at the rear, it was badged "240 SE". I looked closely and confirmed that the "SE" was one piece with the "240", so it wasn't just glued on there from a 940 or some other model.

So what is a 240 SE? I've never seen one before.
