Speed sensor leak on differential cover 200

What's a good fix for the oil leaking around the speed sensor on the differential cover? Seems like all the diffs you see in the boneyard have an accumulation of oily dirt around the sensor. Worth bothering with? What about swapping out the cover for another, older cover from a model without the sensor?
