Alignment after replacing rear trailng arm bushings?

The Volvo green manual does not mention doing so, but after replacing the 2 bushings at the front of the rear trailing arms, should the alignment of the car be checked? Tracking of my 89 740 Turbo wagon down the road does not seema s precise as before I replace the bushings. The old bushings were not bad at all, even with 180K on the car.
