Rear Main Seal and oil Leaks 900 1993

A funny thing happend on the way to replacing the rear main seal on my 945T. I have had the leak for some time and was building up the energy to tackle the job.

3 months ago I looked at the front seal and it was OK but found the front engine cover bolts were loose and causing an oil leak up front. Removed the bolts, put locktite like sealer on the bolts and tighened down. Seems to be OK

When I pulled the transmission to do the rear main seal, I had the same loose bolt situation on the rear engine cover. So much so that one of the bolts had completely fallen out and was sitting behind the flywheel all banged up. Did the same process as up front and will have to wait to see if everything is OK.

I guess Sven had a bad day during my engine build.

Has this happened to anyone else?????

Tim
